Walking on Water
The mysteries of the water bug revealed….
This was hand painted in acrylic, then imported into Adobe Illustrator to make the graphics. I studied the bug under the microscope and made tons of sketches and layouts until I came up with this:

I got a job.
Hooray! I recently got a job freelancing for an educational software company called Comcourse. I am illustrating concepts for solar panel technology- making me a real life science illustrator. This is all thanks to my newly acquired skills in Adobe Illustrator, and most importantly, by going to bars and meeting new people who then give you jobs. (I am a lucky girl) This is unrelated to my work I am doing for them but here is an aloe plant that I drew on the computer and colored for my class that I am pretty pleased with…

More Flash
This doesn’t look like much: Moth Flash but I dissected one of my illustrations and made it come alive in Flash. I think it has potential if I can make it look cleaner. I painted in acrylic this my last semester at State. I made it fly today at cup a joe.
